- 2022 Operation Christmas Child was a resounding success! LMCPC contributed a record 107 shoeboxes! Some were from the Girl Scout troop and the Home School group that meet here and heard about the ministry. A total of 421 shoeboxes were collected here from surrounding churches and groups. A special thanks to Nancy Brill, who assembled 100 shoeboxes for us! I want to thank our volunteers for being on hand to greet people and keep our records straight: Doris & Carlos Wampler, Susan Nunamaker, Cathy Michaliga, Arlene Wright, and Phyllis Smith. And thanks to both Randy and Phyllis Smith for providing the truck and transportation for the packing crates. Finally, a big shout out to the strong guys and gals who helped load the cartons onto the truck last Sunday too. Children all over the world will experience the joy of God's love in receiving gifts and learning about the Gospel. Elaine Reichl
